I started stitching as a child when my mother taught me to hand stitch, embroider, crochet, knit and machine sew. Since then, I’ve continued stitching in various ways, initially making and embellishing clothes and more recently expanding into a more creative, intuitive practice inspired by a variety of starting points – hence the titles of each section.
